Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Nursing Administrator to oversee clinical nursing services in a psychiatric facility. You will lead staff, manage patient assessments, and ensure safety and quality care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults, adolescents and/or children preferred.
• One year of progressive experience in management and/or supervision.

• Provide leadership and role modeling for assigned staff, supervises direct patient care, Nursing management, assessments, and crisis management.

• Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License
• Current North Carolina Driver’s License
• Current CPR Certification

• Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnoses, & interventions with patients.
• Knowledge of milieu management.
• Ability to direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.
• Ability to accurately administer medication and monitor side-effects.
• Ability to safely implement treatment procedures.
• Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families
• Skill in preparing and maintaining appropriate medical record documentation
