Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a psychiatric inpatient setting in North Carolina. You will contribute to crisis management, care planning, and treatments under physician guidance.

The role requires NC RN licensure, CPR, CPI certification, and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care with patients and families. New graduates are welcome to apply and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• New graduates welcome.
• One-year inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
• Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• CPI Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population.
• Direct the implementation of behavior management programs/plans and ensure consistent carry-through.
• Make patient & task assignments to subordinates & monitor their performance of duties.
• Provide training & education to staff, patients, families, & others.
• Document patient care, ensure that data is accurate, & that it is included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates.
• Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

Experience:
