Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to Supportive Housing staff.
• Answer calls, relay messages and maintain records.
• Interview applicants to determine eligibility for services.
• Assist applicants with completing applications for service.
• Document and prepare case files accurately.
• Counsel or refer applicants to other social service agencies as needed.
• Meet LOS and spending requirements for funded programs.
• Submit required monthly reports and purchase orders.
• Attend meetings as required.

Job Details: Job Location: R E Campus S07 - Bridgeton, NJ 08302, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: Graduate Degree, Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/year, Travel Percentage: Up to 50% , JOB FUNCTION: The Supportive Housing Director will perform a variety of tasks essential to the daily operation of the Shelter Programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide technical and administrative support the Supportive Housing staff
• Answering incoming calls, recording messages and relaying information.
• Interview applicants to determine eligibility for services.
• Assist Applicants with completing applications for service.
• Make sure all documentation required for completing application is correct.
• Properly document and prepare Case File.
• Counseling and/or referring applicants to other Social Service agencies as needed.
• Meet LOS requirements for funded programs
• Meet spending requirements and deadlines for funded program.
• Maintain LOS logs.
• Meet requirements for Social Service Outreach contracts (WINN, Eastern Pacific, etc…)
• Submit required monthly reports.
• Process and complete Purchase Orders.
• Attend Social Service / Community meetings as needed.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
• Attend meetings with VP/Social Services
• Other as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED and one year of experience in a customer friendly business
• One year experience in management position
• Knowledge of computer and Microsoft office programs
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
• Access to an insured vehicle daily

Qualifications:
