Job summary

Father Joe’s Villages is seeking a Supportive Housing Custodian to create clean, safe, and welcoming homes for residents in Permanent Supportive Housing communities. You will perform custodial duties and assist tenants in building independent living routines, working with case managers and program staff to support tenancy and well-being.

The role emphasizes hands-on housekeeping, confidentiality, and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team to improve housing stability and tenant experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in custodial services or similar setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Engage tenants through individual and group activities focused on cleanliness, organization, and routine housekeeping.
• Provide custodial services in tenant units and common areas, including cleaning, sanitation, organization, and routine housekeeping.
• Assist tenants with maintaining clean, safe, and functional living spaces while building housekeeping routines and independent living skills.
• Document tenant interactions and custodial activities accurately in C-Star while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with case managers, Tenant Services Coordinators, and housing staff to support coordinated tenant services and successful tenancy.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, staff trainings, and program activities to support effective housing operations.
