Job summary

Mains'l is seeking a compassionate SLS Program Manager to lead two 24-hour residential homes and supervise Direct Support Professionals, guiding individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities toward meaningful, independent lives.

Based in Chico, CA with services also in Oroville and Paradise, this full-time role requires strong leadership, on-call availability, and a commitment to compliance, documentation, and collaborative partnerships with families, regional centers, and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is required.
• Previous leadership or management experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Reliable transportation with current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check (if applicable).
• Acceptable driving record.
• TB test and physical (if required).

Responsibilities

• Lead services for two 24-hour residential homes.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Direct Support Professionals and Support Coordinators.
• Inspire your team to provide exceptional, person-centered support.
• Help individuals achieve their personal goals and live meaningful lives.
• Respond confidently during emergencies and provide staff guidance.
• Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with policies.
• Coordinate schedules, approve timecards, and maintain attendance.
• Partner with families, conservators, regional center, HR, and managers.
• Provide hands-on training and support in the homes.
• Foster a positive team culture where staff and clients succeed.

What You'll Do

As an SLS Program Manager, no two daysare the same.You'llbalance leadership, problem-solving, teamwork, and person-centered support while ensuring high-quality services for the people we support.

You'll:

• Lead services for two 24-hour residential homes.

• Coach, mentor, and develop Direct Support Professionals and Support Coordinators.

• Provide hands-on training and support in the homes.

On-Call Responsibilities

Because the people we supportreceive services24-hours a day, our employees deserve support around the clock as well.

Program Managersparticipatein a rotating one-week on-call schedule every3–4weeks, fromFriday at 6:00 PM through the following Friday at 8:00 AM.

During your on-call week, you may:

• Answer questions from staff.

• Assistduring emergencies.

• Help find shift coverage when employees call out.

• Complete required documentation when needed.

• Occasionally provide direct support if coverage cannot be secured.

The good news?You'renever doing it alone.Our leadership team works together to support one another throughout each on-call rotation.

Schedule

• Full-Time (40 hours/week)

• Work phone available from8:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Rotating on-call schedule every 4–5 weeks

What You'll Need

• Previouscaregiving experience (required)
