We are looking for support workers who are passionate about the care they provide. We are great believers that every interaction matters and it is important to make it count.

Our organisation needs Support workers who can provide good quality of care. The right support worker will truly value helping others and have a passion for providing compassionate care. Our organisation is a community -oriented team, and we are looking for support workers who want to be an integral part of a group focused on being there for the service users.

You could work both independently and as part of a team.

As a Support worker you could get involved in various activities such as - shopping, corner shop visits, walks, hospital, and GP visits, going to hairdressers and attend personal choice activities, organising and participating with in house activities.

In addition to these social activities, we also are involved in cooking, cleaning, medication management & personal care.

Roles

• Supporting service users with shopping, budgeting and managing finances
• Evaluating service users’ practical and emotional needs and assisting with creating support plans
• Monitoring the mental health and wellbeing of service users and reporting any significant changes
• Assisting service users with daily personal care routines, such as bathing and dressing
• Helping with domestic tasks, such as cooking and cleaning
• Encouraging service users to achieve personal goals and always being respectful of their choices
• Counseling clients with drug or alcohol addictions.
• Training family members in basic support techniques.
• Helping clients to participate in leisure activities.
