Job summary

FitzRoy Supported Living is seeking dedicated support workers to join our team in Huntingdon. You will provide individualized care and support to residents with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to achieve their goals and maintain independence.

No prior social care experience is required as we offer full training. The role includes weekend work with enhancements, overtime pay, and opportunities for growth within a supportive charity.

FitzRoy Supported Living service in Huntingdon provides care & support for 5 male residents with learning disabilities & autism. We are seeking an exceptional support workers to join our friendly team– could this be you?

All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying.

• Full time and Part time hours available
• Rates £12.00 per hour with a 10% weekend enhancement
• Overtime paid at £2.50 extra per hour
• Please note that a full time position requires 2 sleeping nights per month (£50 per night)
• A manual driving licence is essential.
  
  

A support worker’s day is varied, and flexibility is required. You will be providing care and support individually tailored to the needs and wishes of people with learning disabilities. You will work together to identify and achieve their goals, enabling them to have choice and control over their lives. You will also be expected to carry out everyday tasks including personal care, taking part in a range of interests and activities that make up a healthy, well balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
