Casual Rate: $40.00/hr
Kanyini Care Services seeks a compassionate and committed Support Worker to join our growing team in Rockdale and Riverstone areas. In this casual role, you will be vital in delivering high-quality care and support to older people and individuals living with disability, empowering them to live independently and with dignity in their homes and communities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced workers, student nurses, and social workers seeking a meaningful and flexible role that supports their career growth.
We are currently recruiting for short 3–4hour shifts, 2–4 days per week. This role is ideal for those seeking flexible, meaningful work that fits around study or family commitments.
Assisting clients with personal care, meal preparation, mobility, and light domestic duties
Providing companionship and supporting social, recreational, or cultural activities
Monitoring and reporting on client wellbeing and documenting changes as required
Collaborating with the care team to ensure a holistic and person-centred approach
Promoting safety, dignity, and independence in every aspect of service delivery
Experience in aged care, disability services, or community support (preferred)
A caring nature, strong communication skills, and empathy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent
Student nurses and social work students are strongly encouraged to apply
Current First Aid & CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check
A current, unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential)
Flexible shifts to suit students, parents, or part-timers
Ongoing training, supervision, and mentoring
