Job summary

2INgage in Kansas is seeking a Family Support Specialist to provide direct and indirect assistance to families in the Family Preservation Program. You will work with case managers, therapists, and community partners to promote child safety, stability, and well-being in home, school, and community settings.

Responsibilities include coordinating resources, offering coaching and crisis intervention, helping families access SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, and employment support, and maintaining documentation

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and prepare records for audits.
  • Identify and address barriers to family engagement and service success.
  • Transport clients as required and attend court proceedings when applicable.
  • Support ongoing communication between families and service providers.
  • Promote teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and agency values.
