Job summary

Ascend Rehab Inc. seeks a Full-Time Preschool Assistant to support the Little Miracles program in Livermore. You will help create a fun learning environment and assist with activities that promote development in language, social, and cognitive skills.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, has basic ECE credits, and is comfortable with diaper changing and collaborating with staff. Hours are Monday through Friday, 4-5 hour shifts, 20-22 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum working with children ages 0-5 years.
• CPR certification required.
• 6 ECE units preferred or in progress.
• Comfort with diaper changing and assisting staff.

Responsibilities

• Support Little Miracles program and classroom activities.
• Create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities.
• Assist staff with daily care and supervision of children.

Skills

Ascend's Little Miracle Program seeks a Full-Time Preschool Assistant to support our 'Little Miracles' Community Program in Livermored for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders. We seek a dedicated and passionate Full-time Aide who can work as a team to help create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities that assist our children's development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

• 1-year minimum working with children ages 0-5 years old.
• CPR
• A minimum of 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units are preferred but can also be enrolled or is after starting enrolled.
• Must be comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff in cleaning up for the kiddos
