Job summary

Ascend Rehab Inc. seeks a Full-Time Preschool Assistant to support the Little Miracles program in Livermore, CA. You will work with children with developmental, language, and sensory processing disorders, helping create a fun, educational environment in collaboration with staff.

Requirements include 1 year of experience with children aged 0-5, CPR, and 6 ECE units (preferred). The role offers $20.00–$26.00 per hour, with Monday–Friday shifts (4–5 hours each).

Qualifications

• 1-year minimum working with children ages 0-5.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 6 ECE units preferred (enrolled acceptable).
• Comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff with cleanup.
• Experience with special needs children preferred.
• Bilingual preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Support the Little Miracles preschool program in Livermore with children who have developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language disorders.
• Create a fun, educational environment and help implement age-appropriate activities to aid development.
• Assist staff with care duties and classroom clean-up as needed.

Ascend's Little Miracle Program seeks a Full-Time Preschool Assistant to support our 'Little Miracles' Community Program in Livermored for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders. We seek a dedicated and passionate Full-time Aide who can work as a team to help create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities that assist our children's development.

Hours are Mondays - Fridays - 20-22 hours per week

PREFERRED

• Experience working with special needs children
• Bilingual preferred (but not required)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

• 1-year minimum working with children ages 0-5 years old.
• CPR
• A minimum of 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units are preferred but can also be enrolled or is after starting enrolled.
• Must be comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff in cleaning up for the kiddos
