Corewell Health is hiring a Support Services Technician to work across Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, Reception, Patient Transport, and Supply Chain. You will collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of service and a positive work environment in multiple locations and departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year of relevant experience is required.
• Customer service and/or related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, and patients to ensure high levels of customer service and care.
• Creates a positive impact on the patient experience by maintaining a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.
• Greets, assists, and guides visitors, staff, and patients through the hospital to their destination.
• Completes special projects as assigned with specific direction.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

Refer to the job description of the role being performed, including using the associated technology. Communicates effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, patients/residents to ensure the highest level of customer service and care for our patients/residents. This position is part of the patient care team and will create a positive impact on the patient's experience by providing a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment. Greets, communicates with and assists visitors, staff and/or patients in navigating through the hospital to reach their destination. Completes special projects as assigned, with specific direction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Customer service and/or other related experience.

Preferred

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Patient Transport 90 Days preferred
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Patient Transport 90 Days preferred
• CRT-Accredited Food Handler - ANSI National Accreditation Board ANSI National Accreditation Board 90 Days preferred
• And CRT-Accredited Food Allergy Certificate - ANSI National Accreditation Board ANSI National Accreditation Board 90 Days preferred
• And CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager, CFP - ANSI National Accreditation Board ANSI National Accreditation Board 90 Days preferred
