Job summary

ECS is seeking a Program Supervisor for the Support Services program in San Jose, CA. You will lead a team, oversee staffing, training, and performance evaluations, and ensure contract compliance and reporting.

Job description

Job Location: Branham Lane, San Jose, CA 95136.
Position Type: Full Time.
Salary Range: $83,935 - $87,712.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee the Support Services program, collaborating with partnering agencies.
  • Build and manage an effective team, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and progressive discipline.
  • Create program structure and complete all required documentation to support program goals.
  • Supervise the Support Services staff, conduct regular clinical supervision, schedule shifts, and manage payroll.
  • Ensure contract compliance, attain successful service outcomes, adhere to reporting protocols, and manage the program budget.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Masters Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (MFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with homeless and low-income individuals, with specialized background in mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, or child welfare preferred.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills required due to extensive documentation and paperwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health records.
  • Ability to assess and respond quickly to medical emergencies, conflict resolution, and resident emergencies, with knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and community resources.
  • Experience facilitating support groups and other group activities.
Other
  • Must secure finger image screening and annual TB screening.
  • Must meet physical requirements, including long periods at a desk or computer workstation and lifting up to 25 lbs.
