Responsibilities

1. Ensure all crew members deliver excellent customer service, training on the B.E.S.T. experience for a fast, friendly checkout.
2. Oversee daily store activities, ensuring effective performance and top-notch customer service.
3. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
4. Act as Manager on Duty when needed, overseeing store operations, staff, and customer issues.
5. Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash security, locking doors, and setting alarms.
6. Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to enhance performance.
7. Drive sales and manage expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff, and customer service.
8. Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and store recovery processes.
9. Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning and stock room organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Maintain composure under pressure.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and reach heights of 5-10 feet.
• Ascend/descend ladders regularly.
• Position self to kneel, bend, and stoop as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts and travel.
• Follow instructions via email and print regarding merchandise and operations.
• Remain upright for 80% of the time.
