Otter Tail County is accepting applications for a Support Enforcement Aide with the Human Services Department.
The purpose of the position is to provide support to the Child Support Collection Unit. Under general supervision, this position enters data into the computer system in order to generate billing statements, required statistics for federal and state reports and finding and case management reports; monitors accounts for compliance with court ordered payment plans; and performs other related work as assigned. To analyze court orders for enforcement actions, perform paralegal functions related to legal enforcement, locate absent parents, review posting, and disbursements of dollars collected. Responsibilities include reviewing case files to ensure all enforcement methods are used, verify all updated information gathered is contained in such files, ensure that information relating to specific cases is properly entered into the computer and to act on requests from the court, county attorney, clients, other agencies, states, and employers to ensure processing is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
