Job summary

Soma is hiring a Support Associate to bridge back-of-house operations and the sales floor in our Sarasota store. You will manage inventory, process shipments, move products from stockroom, and keep items where they belong to ensure a smooth customer experience.

You are proactive, detail-oriented, and uphold brand standards while contributing to a positive team culture and delivering hospitality to every guest.

Qualifications

• Passion for our brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.
• Must be at least 18 years old and flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to learn new processes quickly.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds on the sales floor and stockroom.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory processes: intake, store, and ticket merchandise for replenishment on the sales floor.
• Keep the stockroom organized and easy to navigate.
• Ensure new products are merchandised and represented on the sales floor promptly.
• Restock products and process price changes as needed.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Assist with executing visual directives, floor sets, window changes, signage, and displays.
• Deliver a customer-focused experience that reflects hospitality and teamwork.

About the role

As a Support Associate, your role places you both in the back of the house and on the sales floor. You manage inventory processes that keep the customer experience running smoothly—processing shipments, moving products from the stockroom, and ensuring everything is where it needs to be. You’re proactive, pay close attention to detail, and keep the team informed about inventory needs. You also uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive team culture.

• Assist store leaders with executing visual directives, including updating floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, and signage placements.
