Job summary

Soma is seeking a Support Associate at our Syracuse, NY location. This role combines back-of-house inventory duties with on-floor support to ensure a seamless customer experience. You will handle shipments, restocking, and floor presentation while upholding brand standards.

You’ll contribute to a positive team culture through collaboration, learn new processes quickly, and provide flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory processes including intake, storage, and ticketing for replenishment on the sales floor.
• Keep stockroom organized and easy to navigate.
• Merchandise new products and reflect brand standards on the sales floor.
• Restock products and adjust prices as needed.
• Maintain an inspiring store environment aligned with brand guidelines.
• Assist with visual directives, floor sets, window changes, and signage placements.
• Deliver a customer-focused experience and hospitality culture.
• Support store leaders through teamwork and collaboration.

About the role As a Support Associate, your role places you both in the back of the house and on the sales floor. You manage inventory processes that keep the customer experience running smoothly—processing shipments, moving products from the stockroom, and ensuring everything is where it needs to be. You're proactive, pay close attention to detail, and keep the team informed about inventory needs. You also uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive team culture.

• Manage inventory processes: properly intake, store, and ticket merchandise for smooth replenishment on the sales floor.
• Ensure the stockroom is neatly organized and easy to navigate.
• Ensure new products are merchandised and represented on the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Effectively execute product restocking and price changes.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Assist store leaders with executing visual directives, including updating floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, and signage placements.
• Deliver a customer-focused experience that reflects our culture of hospitality.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork and collaboration.
