Soma is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Victor, NY store to assist the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering a welcoming, customer-focused shopping experience.

You will help drive sales, coach associates, and ensure smooth operations—from visual merchandising to inventory and daily replenishment—embodying Soma's hospitality and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Passion for brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Strong customer and peer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

About The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment—for both associates and customers—that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
