Job summary

Union Square Hospitality Group seeks a motivated Support team member for its NYC dining rooms. You’ll help set up and reset tables, pour water, run food, and support servers and expediters to maintain a seamless service flow.

Experience in guest-facing roles is preferred; walking/standing for long periods, carrying multiple plates and lifting up to 30 lbs are required. English fluency is essential; other languages are a plus.

Located on the Museum of Modern Art's sixth floor, the Terrace Cafe offers sharable plates, salads, sandwiches, and desserts in a vibrant restaurant setting surrounded by art. With full-service hospitality and expansive outdoor seating, diners can enjoy sweeping views of Midtown Manhattan from the terrace.

Located on the second floor, Cafe 2 offers a family-friendly atmosphere serving rustic Italian dishes. Gather around communal tables and enjoy handmade pastas, sandwiches, artisanal cheeses, and fresh salads, alongside kid-friendly classics that make it a perfect stop for visitors of all ages.

Who you are:

A vital member of the Service team, the Support role encompasses setting up the dining room, setting tables, clearing tables, pouring water, running food, working with servers and expediters, resetting the dining room, polishing glassware and various tasks that support service at the restaurant.
