RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Support Aide in Somerville, NJ. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment across patient areas, operating rooms, and other hospital spaces, directly supporting patient care and infection prevention.

This full-time role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and follow Joint Commission and health department standards, with pay range $16.68–$18.99 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Hospital housekeeping and floor care experience preferred.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.

Housekeeping Worker

As a Housekeeping Worker, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every patient, visitor, and team member who enters our facility. Your work is essential to infection prevention, patient safety, and the exceptional healthcare experience our communities expect. Every room you prepare directly supports outstanding patient care.

As a Housekeeping Worker, a typical day might include the following:

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, operating rooms, and assigned hospital areas in a timely manner.

This full-time position is scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and includes rotating weekends and holidays. Experience working within the Joint Commission and Department of Health standards is a plus.
