Job summary

Kay & Associates, Inc. provides organizational level aircraft maintenance support on P-8 series aircraft in accordance with NAMP and federal contract requirements.

The role includes limited technical supply management such as inventory, storage, cataloging and property utilization within depot or local supply activities. Essential functions include Material Control and compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety and quality programs.

Qualifications

  • Logistics A School or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years related experience required.
  • 3+ years P-8 or equivalent aircraft experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work day, swing, mid, or weekend shift as required.
  • Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Order and receive aircraft parts and material.
  • AMMRL readiness management.
  • Naval Aviation METCAL program participation.
  • IMRL readiness support.
  • Hazardous Material Control and Management program involvement.
  • TCP interface with QA and Maintenance Control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Summary

Provides Organizational-level aircraft maintenance support on P-8 series aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.

This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Essential Functions
  • Perform Material Control Functions
  • Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs
Duties
  • Order and receive aircraft parts and material.
  • Aircraft Maintenance Material Readiness List (AMMRL)
  • Naval Aviation Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program
  • Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL)
  • Hazardous Material Control and Management (HMC&M) Program
  • Tool Control Program (TCP) Interface with QA and Maintenance Control
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, climbing and/or use of a computer and office equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires sufficient vision to read and review records. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE, and work indoors in office/hangar and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Compensation
  • $35.70/hour + $2.65 H&W
