Job summary

Armada is seeking a Supply Planning Leader to drive inventory strategies, optimize service levels, and lead a team across warehouses and clients. You will manage stock, collaborate with logistics, finance, and engineering, and develop KPIs to measure performance.

The role requires strong analytics, ERP experience, and a proven track record in inventory optimization. Hybrid on-site role with travel to redistribution facilities and client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or relevant discipline.
• 2–4 years experience with inventory management.
• 2–4 years experience with an advanced planning system (Blue Yonder, SAP, Logility, Kinaxis).
• 2–4 years of managerial and/or team leading experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data mining tools for analytics.
• Comparable experience will be considered.
• APICS certification preferred.
• JD Edwards experience preferred.
• Experience in inventory planning for redistribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and execution of departmental buy strategies for launches, phases, promotions, and efficiency improvements.
• Manage and project inventory levels across customers, product categories, and warehouses.
• Achieve high in-stock rates and perform root cause analyses with corrective actions.
• Balance working capital with customer service and financial viability.
• Lead risk management in inventory to mitigate product loss via weekly expiration and monthly slow-moving reviews.
• Collaborate with warehouses, transportation, and client support to ensure supply and create efficiencies.
• Perform analytics from multiple data sources to support decisions and reporting.
• Lead or participate in projects to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Build internal/external relationships with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
