Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Supply Planner to ensure on-time, accurate availability of our products. You will own planning activities, coordinate with suppliers, and use Oracle and ERP systems to optimize inventory and lead times.

You will track KPIs such as fill rate and inventories, present monthly S&OP reports to stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration to align demand with production capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Experience with supply planning tools, software, and ERP systems.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Oracle as the primary planning tool to drive accuracy and efficiency.
• Track and analyze KPIs like fill rates, inventory turns, and excess/obsolete inventory.
• Partner with suppliers to monitor long-term capacity planning and alignment with demand.
• Compile and present monthly S&OP reports to stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Manage real-time adjustments to supply plans within the ERP system.
• Develop and execute inventory planning strategies, including stocking targets and promotional builds.
• Communicate inventory risks and capacity constraints to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Conduct supply/demand analysis for launches, transitions, end-of-life products, and location shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance planning processes.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Utilize and maintain Oracle as the primary supply planning tool to drive accuracy and efficiency.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) such as fill rates, inventory turns, and excess/obsolete inventory to support data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with suppliers to monitor long-term capacity planning, ensuring alignment with demand and production capabilities.
• Compile and present monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reports to key stakeholders, providing insights to support business objectives.
• Manage real-time adjustments to supply plans, including changes to purchase orders, lead times, and other critical updates within the ERP system.
• Develop and execute inventory planning strategies, including setting stocking targets and planning for promotional builds.
• Proactively communicate inventory risks, supply constraints, and capacity limitations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Conduct in-depth supply and demand analysis for new product launches, product transitions, end-of-life products, and production location shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply planning processes and overall efficiency.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field
• 1-3 years of directly related experience
• Understanding of Supply Chain planning tools, software, and ERP systems
• Ability to influence and drive decision making with cross functional stakeholders
• Passion for problem-solving and optimizing supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in supply planning and demand forecasting.
