Job summary

Jobtailor in Madison, NJ is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to optimize inventory and align supply with customer demand. You will own material planning and stocking locations, and work with suppliers and cross-functional teams to prevent disruptions.

The role requires knowledge of ERP & MRP systems (Infor M3 preferred), strong Excel skills, and a track record of driving improvements in inventory turnover and KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain management or related field.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory optimization, and demand planning.
• Experience with ERP & MRP systems, preferably Infor M3.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and pivot tables in Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory levels and align supply with customer demand.
• Own material planning and stocking locations.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to prevent disruptions.
• Review MRP outputs and communicate PO requirements.
• Monitor PO status and resolve issues to maintain supply.
• Oversee distribution orders for non-purchased stocking locations.
• Align forecasts with supply strategies and identify gaps.
• Drive KPIs such as fill rate, DIOH, spoils, and dead stock.
