Job summary

Jobtailor in Madison, NJ is seeking a warehouse data entry and logistics coordinator to support inventory control and operational growth. This role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.

You will act as the main contact for the warehouse, review data from EDI and manual reports, ensure SOP documentation, and handle bills of lading and lot control while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in logistics, warehouse customer service, order processing, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, data cleaning) required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for warehouse.
• Communicate with internal and external parties through phone and email.
• Review, verify, and enter warehouse receiving data from EDI and manual reports.
• Maintain data accuracy, case counts, and documentation according to SOPs.
• Process bills of lading for accurate billing and lot control / inventory control.
• Coordinate warehouse transfers.
• Manage documentation and system accuracy for lot transformation, warehouse special projects, repack, labeling, product inspection.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies while developing and instituting corrective actions with Finance department.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by researching inventory discrepancies.
• Improve, automate and simplify warehouse procedures to enhance inventory accuracy and support operational growth.
