Job Description

Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for a Supply Planner to join the team in Denver, CO. The role of the Supply Planner is designed to lead a production planning team supporting a stone manufacturing and installation organization, providing data, tools, and direction on the daily scheduling & balancing of orders across the US Stone Solutions Group. This position will lead the development of standardized scheduling processes. Other aspects of the role include planning support of inventory and distribution of Finished Goods across the US Stone Group.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to execute the supply chain function: production planning, inventory, and applicable data analytics
  • Ensure an accurate mold inventory within the supply chain
  • Implement the daily, weekly, and future production plan for the assigned facilities
  • Coordinate all supply chain activities enabling superior On Time, Complete and Accurate service levels necessary to achieve a Customer Experience 2nd to None while achieving sales and margin objectives.
  • Incorporate customer forecasts with the Sales, Installation and Manufacturing Teams
  • Identify performance gaps and lead cross functional remediation efforts
  • Act as point of contact between Sales and Supply Chain to ensure effective and efficient coordination from translation of sales plans into operational execution.
  • Prepare supply chain with new product launches
  • Owns the Planner and the Schedule tools
  • Owns reporting of adherence to schedule and relevant plant performance metrics
  • Collaborate with transportation & warehouse teams to ensure that logistics resources are available to support customers' firm and forecasted demands
  • Support and embrace a culture of continuous improvement
  • Create and communicate effectively to both internal and external customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management
  • 3+ years previous work experience in a Planning/Scheduling or Supply Chain role preferred by not required
  • Fluent use of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams, Outlook, Smartsheet, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ability to use metrics

The US base salary for this role is $60K - $75K + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
