Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. invites promising students to join its Supply Management internship in Ohio for Summer 2027. Work closely with procurement teams to learn how internal and external resources resolve issues, manage documents, and improve processes using SAP and MS Office tools.

You will support project work, track purchase orders, and compile analytical reports to aid management decisions. Strong communication skills and US citizenship are required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen as a basic eligibility
• Pursuing or enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in relevant fields such as Economics, Finance, or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with internal and external resources to resolve procurement issues and ensure plant procurement requirements are met.
• Manage documents in support of Procurement activities.
• Manage assigned projects to improve procurement processes.
• Follow-up on outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Complete PO maintenance activities in support of Buyer needs.
• Collect, organize, interpret, and publish reports in support of business needs.
