Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. (BWXT) is seeking a Summer 2027 Procurement Engineering Intern to support the procurement team in interfacing with suppliers, developing procurement strategies, and ensuring quality and compliance of subcontracted parts and assemblies.

The role is based in Lynchburg, VA, within the Advanced Technologies Office. The position offers a flexible internship experience with opportunities to work on supplier interfaces, create procurement strategies, and contribute to engineering

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an engineering degree program.
• Must demonstrate superior written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Support the procurement engineering team by interfacing with suppliers for subcontracted parts and assemblies.
• Provide administrative support to the procurement engineering team.
• Develop presentation slides for various projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
