JOB SUMMARY

Provides leadership and oversight for facility supply inventory, linen services, janitorial operations, and sanitation-related support services. Supervises assigned staff to ensure facility cleanliness, linen availability, supply inventory accuracy, and compliance with company, regulatory, and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• 1. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and reviewing the performance of assigned staff to maximize employee engagement and achieve desired strategic outcomes.
• 2. Manage facility supply, linen, and janitorial operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational, sanitation, inventory, and personnel policies and procedures.
• 3. Ensure adequate inventory levels of all applicable supplies.
• 4. Maintain acceptable inventory levels to support operational requirements while minimizing waste, shortages, excess inventory, and unnecessary costs.
• 5. Oversee all processes of the linen services to ensure adequate supply for all operational areas.
• 6. Comply with and enforce all federal, state, local, and company requirements related to sanitation, chemical handling, workplace safety, environmental regulations, and material storage.
• 7. Conduct routine physical inventories and cycle counts; reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
• 8. Oversee facility cleanliness and housekeeping standards to ensure all areas meet company and regulatory expectations.
• 9. Maintain the physical condition of supply storage areas, linen storage locations, janitorial equipment, and cleaning systems including the processes of conducting inspections, coordinating repairs, and recommending replacement of equipment when necessary.
• 10. Manage chemical inventories and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documentation.
• 11. Monitor vendor performance and coordinate with suppliers and linen service providers to ensure timely deliveries, service quality, inventory accuracy, and cost-effective operations.
• 12. Control supply and linen costs, analyze variances, and respond to trends as needed.
• 13. Collaborate with all teams to support production goals, sanitation standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and inventory control efforts.
• 14. Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews by maintaining appropriate documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• 15. Promote a culture of safety by ensuring team members follow safe work practices, participate in safety initiatives, report hazards, and actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• 16. All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

• Must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ work experience in a supply/janitorial management role.
• Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience managing people
• Must have knowledge of food safety and safety programs
• Must possess skills in communicating in a courteous and professional manner, both verbally and in writing to all levels of team members.
• Ability to motivate team members to drive and achieve departmental goals as well as be responsible for performance management of your team
• Must have exceptional time management and prioritizing skills.
• Must know how to effectively utilize a personal computer and a variety of software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to pass required physical.
• Ability to stand or walk for an entire 8-hour shift.
• Ability to reflect the values of our company in public settings.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in poultry or other food processing plants is highly preferred but not required.
• Management experience encompassing multiple shift supervision is preferred
• Associate Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
