Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Supply Coordinator for Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. The role is full-time, dayshift, 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday with weekends as needed.

You will work closely with licensed healthcare professionals to ensure adequate inventory for Surgical Services and support patient care on a daily basis. The ideal candidate has warehousing, customer service, and healthcare experience and is comfortable using Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• This candidate should have warehousing and inventory experience.
• Customer service and healthcare experience are preferred.
• Operating room experience is a plus and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Order equipment and supplies and maintain inventory for Surgical Services.
• Work with automated inventory management systems.
• Meet with clinical coordinators and extract data sheets.
• Handle patient charges and device recall follow-up.

Baptist Health is currently to add Supply Coordinator to our Materials Management team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.

This is a Full-time, Days shift opportunity working 6:00am-2:30pm Monday through Friday with weekends as needed.

This position will work closely with licensed healthcare professionals and impacts their ability to care for patients daily. The ideal candidate will have warehousing, customer service, and healthcare experience and be comfortable utilizing Microsoft Excel.

As a Supply Coordinator, You Will Be Responsible For

• Ordering equipment and supplies and maintaining adequate inventory for all of Surgical Services.
• Working with automated inventory management systems.
• Meeting with clinical coordinators.
• Extracting and printing data sheets.
• Patient charges, researching and following up on device recalls.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years Purchasing Experience Preferred
• Operating Room Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associates of Arts/Sciences Preferred

This Supply Coordinator will be located at Baptist Medical Center in downtown Jacksonville.
