Pride Health is hiring a Distribution Technician for a healthcare client in Manchester, CT. The role focuses on maintaining inventory levels, stock replenishment, and accurate inventory control to support patient care operations.

The position is a 13-week contract-to-hire with day shifts, 40 hours per week, and pay at $19 per hour on W-2. Local candidates within 45 minutes of the facility are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse, stockroom, supply distribution, receiving, or materials management.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn inventory management software.
  • PeopleSoft experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver medical supplies to patient care departments accurately and on time.
  • Maintain inventory levels by rotating stock, replenishing supplies, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Order supplies using handheld inventory systems and maintain PAR levels.
  • Receive, inspect, stock, and distribute incoming inventory.
  • Pick up and deliver STAT laboratory items as required.
  • Monitor inventory for expired or damaged supplies.
  • Maintain clean and organized supply rooms and storage areas.
  • Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Respond to departmental supply requests and resolve routine inventory issues.
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain inventory and delivery of medical gas supplies.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory control and reduce waste.

Pride Health is hiring a Supply Chain (Warehouse) for one of its healthcare clients in Manchester, CT. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with competitive pay and benefits

Location: Manchester, CT 06040

Job Type: 13-Week Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $19 per hour on W2

Shift: Day Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Requirement: Local candidates only – Must live within 45 minutes of the facility.

Job Summary
