Job summary

Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading healthcare and medical device organization to identify a Supply Chain Analyst for an opportunity near Forest City, IA. This 12-month contract role is onsite (5 days/week) with a 40-hour schedule.

Responsibilities include managing intercompany orders, investigating status, resolving discrepancies, and reporting on demand planning and inventory. A bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain is required, with experience in SAP ERP/JDA and the Microsoft

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Equivalent years of related work experience in supply chain or related field.
  • Knowledge of supply planning, warehousing, transportation and import/export concepts.
  • Proficiency with SAP ERP, JDA and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage intercompany orders, including entry, inquiries, changes, and exceptions.
  • Investigate order status, resolve shipment discrepancies and back-orders.
  • Manage reporting for demand planning, order management, inventory and financials.
  • Follow defined procedures across supply planning, warehousing, transportation and import/export.
  • Work independently under supervision and prioritize work as directed.

Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading healthcare and medical device organization to identify a Supply Chain Analyst for an opportunity near Forest City, IA.

Responsibilities
  • Manage intercompany orders (international orders within internal plants or distribution centers), including order entry, inquiries, change requests, and exceptions.
  • Requires investigating order status, resolving shipment discrepancies, and resolving back-order situations.
  • Manages the reporting process for demand planning, order management, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Follows a variety of clearly defined procedures under general guidance within functional disciplines such as supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, import/export, etc.
  • Works independently, although the scope for discretion is limited and the output is reviewed periodically while in progress.
  • The manager/supervisor defines the work priorities.
  • Must be highly skilled and knowledgeable in the position and provide best-practice sharing within the work group.
  • Utilizes tracking systems to manage progress and report results
  • The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of theories and practices such as supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, import/export, etc.
  • Knowledge/experience in computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility is required.
  • Programs and systems include SAP ERP, JDA, Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Possesses the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
  • Uses basic analytical skills to interpret information, examine variables, conclude, and assess alternative methods.
  • A bachelor-level university/college degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Equivalent years of related work experience in a related field such as supply chain or customer service.
Additional Details
  • Position Type: 12-month contract with potential to extend
  • Position Type: Onsite (5 days/week)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
  • Pay range approved: $20-21.43/hr, depending on experience
