Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex cross-functional programs spanning manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain. You will drive project plans from conception to implementation and craft strategies, processes, and resources to support execution.

You will influence senior leadership with updates on status, risks, and mitigation plans while coordinating with global suppliers and internal teams. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
  • Experience with supplier qualification and supplier quality methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience managing technical risks and driving issue resolution.
  • Preferred: Supply Chain and Semiconductor domain commodity experience in Sensors, Process Power, or PCBA.
  • Preferred: Experience with supplier development and qualification programs.
  • Preferred: PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Preferred: Experience working with global suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex cross-functional technical programs involving manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain organizations.
  • Prepare project plans and drive projects from conception and planning through implementation.
  • Participate in developing strategies, processes, and resources.
  • Provide engineering and business process expertise on standard programs and issues.
  • Identify and resolve project complications and develop solutions.
  • Drive supplier qualification and alternate source development initiatives.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes, supplier capabilities, and qualification readiness.
  • Manage technical risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive issue resolution across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate engineering change implementation and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Facilitate root cause investigations and corrective action plans with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Develop and track program schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and executive communications.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment for successful project execution and business outcomes.
  • Present program status, technical risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
