Job summary

University Hospitals in Cleveland is seeking a dedicated Inventory/Support Services team member to maintain hospital inventory, replenish supplies, and ensure accurate item tracking using handheld devices.

The role includes keeping areas neat for accurate counts, serving as a primary liaison to nursing units regarding PAR items, and maintaining shelf tag accuracy. Regular duties include compliance with hospital policies and PHI protection and occasional additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Stock room/inventory and customer service experience.
• Proficient with PCs and general office equipment.
• Handheld computers experience preferred.

• Keep supply areas neat and orderly to permit accurate counting and removal of outdated supplies.
• Serve as liaison between Material Distribution and nursing divisions/units regarding PAR items and ensure timely information flow about shortages, outages, overstock and other inventory concerns.
• Accurate maintenance of shelf tag labels noting pertinent item information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
