Job summary

CHIPTON-ROSS Inc. is seeking a senior Supply Chain Systems Analyst in California to translate business needs into system architectures and drive analytics across procurement platforms.

You will partner with supply chain and IT to resolve issues, develop KPI metrics, and support cross-functional teams. Requirements include 10+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ with a Master’s), strong proficiency in Ariba, S4/Hana, Tableau, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience with a technical or business systems application focus, or 5+ years with a Master’s Degree.
• Advanced experience generating reporting out of Ariba and S4.
• Experience with generating visualizations in Tableau.
• Knowledge of technical standards, principles, and concepts with ability to provide solutions to various technical problems.
• Knowledge and experience in S4/Hana and Ariba.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced Excel data manipulation (slicers, pivot tables, macros).
• Experience developing KPIs and understanding procurement business processes.
• Strong analytical, time management, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and translates metrics into an architectural blueprint to meet business objectives.
• Provides systems support between supply chain and IT service areas.
• Supports cross-functional technical teams to resolve time-sensitive issues.
• Develops data-driven metrics for supply chain and proposes solutions.
• Analyzes supply chain systems, recommends enhancements, and provides support.
• Provides training and guidance to buyers on processes and guidelines.
• Acts as liaison between internal customers and IT, aligning needs with strategic goals.
• Trains Supply Chain staff on business systems usage.
• Collaborates with Senior Metrics Analyst to support organizational systems and metrics.
• Recommends processes for tracking, reporting, and analysis of assets throughout lifecycle.
• Leads small IT projects and improves system templates.
• Researches system upgrades and improvements.
• Documents systems and proposes future approaches.
• Supports optimization of system resources and configurations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Typically, 10 or more years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree with a technical or business systems application focus, or 5 or more years of relevant experience with Master’s Degree
• Advanced experience generating reporting out of Ariba and S4
• Experience with generating visualizations in Tableau
• Knowledge of technical standards, principles, and concepts with the ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems
• Knowledge and experience in S4/Hana and Ariba
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Advanced knowledge in Excel data manipulation using slicers, pivot tables, and macros
• Working knowledge and experience in developing KPI’s
• Good understanding of procurement business processes
• Strong analytical skills
• Must possess time management and project management skills

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzes and translates business metrics, customer, and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives.
• Provides systems support between supply chain and IT service areas.
• May be called upon to support cross functional technical teams to resolve critical, time-sensitive issues.
• Will support development of data driven metrics for supply chain and provide solutions.
• Analyzes supply chain business system applications, recommends systems enhancements and provides systems support.
• Provides training and guidance to buyers on processes and guidelines.
• Serves as a liaison between internal customers, information technology representatives and works closely with organization management and supply chain staff to identify business needs and establish ways to meet those needs and improvements.
• Assists and trains Supply Chain business systems users.
• Collaborates with the Senior Metrics Analyst to support organizational systems and metrics.
• Recommends effective processes and procedures that allow for the effective tracking, reporting, and usage analysis of all assets throughout their life cycle.
• Will lead small IT projects within the organization
• Design, modify and improve system templates
• Act as focal point to conduct research for system upgrades and improvements
• Creates, maintains and updates system information in various reporting repositories
• Provides SAP and related tools support to Supply Chain staff and internal customers
• Monitors and maintains Supply Chain web page with updated, current information and documentation
• Documents current systems and develops recommendations on how to proceed with solutions.
• Supports the optimization of system resources and system configurations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree is required and school must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

• 5/40 work week. 8:00AM to 5:00PM PST
