Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced SAP functional consultant to lead end-to-end procurement and supply chain initiatives. You will design, configure, test and support SAP S/4HANA and Ariba integrations, collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Logistics, and IT to drive efficiency and data integrity.

The role demands 15+ years in SAP consulting, strong relationship building, and the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

15+ years of SAP functional consulting, implementation and support.
Hands-on experience with SAP Supply Chain solutions.
Experience with SAP Material Management (MM).
15+ years liaison between business leaders and IT.
Experience with onshore and offshore support and dev teams.
Experience implementing and supporting SAP ancillary solutions.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and FI/CO integration.
Certification in SAP S/4HANA preferred.

Job description

Serve as a functional expert responsible for solution design, configuration, testing, and production support.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and optimize customer-facing processes.
Align processes with Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain operations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer service, automation, and operational efficiency.
Support end-to-end procurement transformation initiatives leveraging SAP S/4HANA and SAP Service and Asset Management.
Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, controls, and audit requirements.
Design and support SAP Ariba solutions.
Support supplier onboarding and enablement activities.
Collaborate with procurement stakeholders to optimize supplier collaboration processes.
Support integrations between SAP Service and Asset Management, customer and supplier systems, and third-party applications.
Ensure solution scalability, reliability, and data integrity across integrated systems.
Support business reporting and analytics across Supply Chain processes.
Partner with analytics and reporting teams to ensure accurate and reliable business data.
Support KPI development and dashboard initiatives.
Support SAP S/4HANA and connected Supply Chain applications.
Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex business process issues.
Implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Maintain operational documentation, business process flows, and functional specifications.
Identify system optimization opportunities and technical debt reduction initiatives.
Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, and transformation projects.
Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and IT teams to deliver business value.
Collaborate with SAP functional teams including SD, MM, FI/CO, TM, and Integration teams.
Evaluate and adopt new SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
Drive innovation in customer and supplier engagement processes.
Promote best practices and governance across Supply Chain business functions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
15+ years of experience in SAP functional consulting, implementation, and support.
Hands-on experience with SAP Supply Chain solutions.
Experience with SAP Material Management.
15+ years of experience as liaison between business leaders and IT, developing and fostering business relationships.
Experience working closely with onshore and offshore support and development teams.
Experience implementing and supporting SAP ancillary solutions.
Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes, including material management.
Strong understanding of financial integration with FI/CO.
Development capabilities for SAP Asset Management.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and support.
Experience supporting integrations through APIs, IDocs, EDI, and middleware platforms.
Strong understanding of end-to-end business process integration across OTC, STP, Finance, and Supply Chain.
SAP S/4HANA certification in Sales, Procurement, or related disciplines preferred.
Experience with SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics preferred.
Knowledge of asset management, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain integration processes preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, energy, or industrial sectors preferred.
Exposure to AI-driven procurement and intelligent automation solutions within SAP preferred.
Strong business process expertise in Supply Chain operations.
