MacLean-Fogg in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory, planning, and logistics, across the plant.

You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement, manage supplier relations, and align supply chain processes with production schedules and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team responsible for coordinating the movement of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products within the supply chain.
• Administer strategies to optimize organizational inventory levels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimizing carrying costs.
• Analyze historical data to forecast demand and predict inventory needs, adjusting strategies as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, facilitating the purchase of materials and submitting purchase orders to ensure a continuous supply of goods.
• Work collaboratively with all departments to support business needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assess existing supply chain processes and implement changes to reduce waste and improve overall efficiency and performance.
• Document and manage the performance of supply chain staff, reporting on key performance indicators to track effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee the logistics of moving materials and products to ensure timely delivery and alignment with production schedules and customer expectations.
• Perform all other duties assigned.
