Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is offering a 11-week Supply Chain 2027 Summer Internship at our Store Support Center in Brentwood, TN. This program provides hands-on experience across end-to-end operations, with exposure to planning, transportation, analytics, and continuous improvement projects.

Interns will complete a project addressing a real business need and gain mentorship from seasoned supply chain professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s in SCM, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, Analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated interest in supply chain, logistics, operations, or related business functions.
• Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Support Supply Chain Continuous Improvement projects focused on processes, productivity, and efficiency.
• Gain exposure to end-to-end product flow from vendors to stores and customers.
• Analyze data to identify trends and develop insights for decisions.
• Support design, capacity, and optimization analysis of the supply chain network.
• Assist with projects on landed costs, transportation costs, and margin improvement.
• Learn technologies, systems, and automation that support supply chain operations.
