Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a detail-oriented supply chain associate to manage PAR levels, build strong relationships with clinicians and vendors, and rotate stock to prevent expiration. You will help with product recalls, supplier coordination, and inventory accuracy using an ERP system.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of healthcare experience, strong Excel and office software skills, and a proactive, independent work style committed to quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in English.
• Healthcare supply chain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains PAR levels to ensure adequate stock of necessary supplies.
• Builds and maintains relationships with clinical and non-clinical customers to ensure effective communication and support.
• Rotates stock to ensure the oldest items are used first and to prevent expiration.
• Participates in VAT Committee activities to contribute to decision-making processes.
• Engages in performance improvement activities to enhance departmental efficiency.
• Contributes to value analysis projects to evaluate and improve supply usage.
• Initiates supply return requests and ensures proper handling and documentation.
• Manages product recall activities to ensure the safety and compliance of supplies.
• Ensures staff awareness of new items, product changes, substitutions, back orders, and out-of-stock supplies.
• Met with suppliers to discuss and resolve supply-related issues and to coordinate product trials and evaluations.
• Coordinates product trials and evaluations to assess the suitability of new supplies.
• Maintains a clean and organized supply area to ensure easy access and inventory management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
