Job summary

Selig Group in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Specialist to support purchasing, inventory, and production planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will manage purchase orders in SAP, monitor raw material levels, and coordinate with planning, scheduling, customer service, logistics, and suppliers to ensure OTIF delivery while maintaining safety stock and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of purchasing experience.
• At least one year of experience using SAP; SAP Fiori experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers for local services, materials, and supplies.
• Create and manage purchase orders for the local facility using SAP.
• Participate in inventory counts and manage raw material inventory using SAP and Excel.
• Follow reorder point and safety stock processes.
• Coordinate with Planning, Scheduling, Customer Service, and Logistics to support OTIF delivery.
• Support compliance with quality standards (BRC, FDA, ISO) and supplier performance.
• Serve as backup for production scheduling and support special projects.
