Job summary

Mercy – Rogers is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to optimize the flow of supplies and linen across multiple hospital locations. You will leverage advanced supply chain software, ensure adequate stocking, and support PAR inventories while mentoring new coworkers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clinical and specialty departments to coordinate delivery and inventory management in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Mercy Preceptor course within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Mercy Supply Chain Technician and/or Advanced Supply Chain Technician competencies.
• 2 years direct healthcare supply chain experience (preferred).
• Experience in specialty area (preferred).
• CMRP/CPIM/CSCP certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Utilize supply chain software to manage fill, order, stock, distribute, and receive supplies and linen.
• Mentor and train new coworkers and act as liaison between supply chain and clinical departments.
• Ensure supplies and linens are stocked and inventory is adequate across multiple hospital locations.

Supply Chain Specialist will utilize and demonstrate at an advanced level supply chain software systems to fill, order, stock, distribute, and receive supplies and linen along with assisting with the management of PAR inventories. This position also ensure appropriate supplies/Linens are stocked, delivered, and inventory is adequately stocked in multiple hospital locations. Advanced Technicians will also assist with mentoring and training new coworkers, and at times serve as a liaison in communication between supply chain and clinical/specialty departments and leaders.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of Mercy Preceptor course within 6 months of hire.
Experience:
Demonstrated proficiency in Mercy Supply Chain Technician and/or Advanced Supply Chain Technician competencies, experience in specialty and/or demonstrated leadership, or 2 years direct healthcare supply chain experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
Prefer 12 months in Supply Chain Technician or Advanced Supply Chain Technician role. Experience preferred in specialty area.
Certification/Registration:
Preferred Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
