Mercy seeks an Advanced Supply Chain Technician to optimize and manage supply chain operations, including filling, stocking, distributing, and receiving supplies and linens across several locations. The role also involves mentoring new coworkers and acting as a liaison between supply chain and clinical leaders.
The position emphasizes proficiency with supply chain software, adherence to Mercy standards, and collaboration with clinical teams to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
Advanced Supply Chain Technician will utilize and demonstrate at an advanced level supply chain software systems to fill, order, stock, distribute, and receive supplies and linen along with assisting with the management of PAR inventories. This position also ensure appropriate supplies/Linens are stocked, delivered, and inventory is adequately stocked in multiple locations. Advanced Technicians will also assist with mentoring and training new coworkers, and at times serve as a liaison in communication between supply chain and clinical leaders.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of Mercy Preceptor Course within 6 months.
Licensure:
Experience:
Mastered Supply Chain Technician Competencies and fully functional in Supply Chain Technician role, or 2 years direct healthcare supply chain or 2 years large-scale supply chain experience.
