Job summary

Maker's Pride seeks a supply chain coordinator to ensure the timely delivery of finished goods. You will review demands, place POs, manage inventory, update MRP data, and coordinate inbound shipments while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements include 1+ year in manufacturing or distribution, ERP/MRP/WMS experience with SAP as a bonus, and strong MS Office skills. On-site role based in Ohio with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 1+ year manufacturing or high-speed distribution experience.
• 1+ year supply chain experience.
• Experience in Food and packaging industry is a plus.
• ERP/MRP/WMS experience required, SAP experience is a bonus.
• Excellent communication, motivational and organizational skills.
• Experience working directly with outside parties.

Responsibilities

• Review materials demands and place PO within the specific timeline.
• Manage materials inventory, avoid shortages and optimize turnover.
• Update SAP MRP data (MRP 1 and MRP 2).
• Monitor open PO report daily, expedite inbound shipments.
• Review aging inventory to avoid scrap and write-offs.
• Support vendor logistics teams with inbound shipment issues.
• Coordinate RMA return.
• Act as liaison between US vendors and Canadian customs broker.
• File MDR in customer portal for risk and freight issues.
• Monitor materials demands in customer and Maker’s Pride SAP systems.
• Partner with customers to plan plant capacity and efficiency.
• Convert planned production orders to live orders for operations.
• Participate in weekly planning meetings.
• Facilitate and manage QN/NCMR with closures within timelines.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of supply chain functions to ensure customer delivery compliance of their contracted finished goods products. This entails customer service, materials requirement planning, coordinating or purchasing materials (turnkey), managing inventory, and logistics.

Job Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Review materials demands and place PO within the specific timeline;
• Manage materials inventory, avoid shortage to production, and to achieve the best inventory turnover;
• Update certain level SAP MRP data (MRP 1 and MRP 2)
• Monitor open PO report daily, expedite and accelerate inbound shipments with potential risk of delay;
• Review aging inventory weekly to avoid scrap and write off of ingredients;
• Monitor on hold raw materials status and takes actions to clean up hold memo in time;
• Support vendor's logistics team and their carriers with any inbound shipment related issues;
• Coordinate RMA return;
• Act as a liaison between our US based vendors and our Canadian customs clearance broker;
• File MDR in customer's portal to elevate supply risk and freight related risks;
• Monitor the materials demands in customer's system and in Maker's Pride SAP system, capture errors that may affect production or cause excess inventory;
• Partners with customer/s in and plans the plant’s operating capacity to optimize Maker’s Pride efficiency and customer output.
• Converts planned production orders to live production orders for operations to utilize
• Participate in weekly planning meeting
• Facilitates and manages QN/NCMR completion, closure within 30 days and full financial recovery within 60 days'

Work Environment:

Requirements for this position require the ability to occasionally access production and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will onsite with company assigned computer, headset, mouse, keyboard, and office supplies. Overtime outside of the regular business hours maybe required occasionally depends on the urgency of the business demand.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 or more years of more of manufacturing or high-speed distribution experience.
• 1 or more years of supply chain experience.
• Experience in a Food and/ or packaging industry a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• ERP/MRP/WMS experience required, SAP experience a bonus.
• Excellent communication, motivational and organizational skills required.
• Experience working directly with outside parties needed.
