Job DetailsJob Location: Unitech Composites, Inc. - Hayden, ID 83835Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 HourlyJob Shift: Day

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Specialist serves a dual role in the facility. They are responsible for assisting in multiple functions, including but not limited to Shipping, Receiving, Stores and Purchasing. In addition, they will also support the facility by keeping workstations fully stocked with consumable materials allowing operators to focus on production. The OSS must be knowledgeable in all processes and materials they are managing. The OSS travels from point to point, checking in on every work center regularly to ensuring production continues to flow without interruption.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Expedite parts through their manufacturing process to facilitate flow
  • Notifies the department of any material shortages
  • Expedites work orders as needed.
  • Assistance in wrapping finished goods and preparing shipments
  • Training as a back up for both shipping and receiving functions
  • Develops, maintains, and monitors compliance with all production control schedule policies and procedures
  • Identifies all inventory shortages.
  • Transport tools to and from holding area to support production areas
  • Verify and ensure work order accuracy, including accurate part identification labels and quantities.
  • Ability to identify and elevate problems or exceptions to the appropriate people.
  • Fill and maintain adequate levels of consumables goods assigned to production areas
  • Recommend changes to improve workflow
  • Work independently and as a team member to fulfill department goals or objectives
  • Support the safety programs / goals within the scope of the job
  • Exemplary and predictable attendance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain compliance to applicable Company, Corporate, State, and Federal Regulations
  • Other duties may include receiving and issuing parts or tooling, storekeeping and inventory control, cycle counting, scanning, document control, and housekeeping
QualificationsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Obtain Forklift Certification
  • Organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize and plan work activities.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Education: High School Diploma Experience: 2+ years of experience manufacturing environment preferred Computer Skills: Microsoft Office including strong Excel and Word skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
