Job summary

Salary Range: $18.00 - $24.00 Hourly


Job Shift: Day


Position Summary

This position is mainly responsible for building crates to ship product. Other responsibilities will include maintaining company facilities which may involve electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), moving material with a forklift and other duties as assigned.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Use carpentry skills to construct crates and other projects as required

  • Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary

  • Perform preventative maintenance

  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency

  • Perform other maintenance duties as requested

  • Maintain the building and grounds in a clean and orderly condition

  • Clean snow and debris from sidewalks

  • Exemplary and predictable attendance

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee can be exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is normal to loud.
