Nordstrom is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the implementation of strategic environmental health & safety (EHS) processes at the home site and across the Supply Chain network.

You will develop and maintain site-specific EHS programs, oversee Hazardous Waste, monitor compliance, investigate incidents, and drive risk assessments with cross-functional teams to ensure a safe operation.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in Safety or Occupational Safety and Health
• ASP certification or higher preferred
• Experience leading a safety team in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR)
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and hazardous waste
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic safety instruments
• Strong organizational and written communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Lead implementation of EHS processes at the home site and across the Supply Chain network
• Develop and maintain site-specific EHS programs and procedures
• Evaluate and investigate incident and accident trends
• Coordinate with Engineering/Facilities on new equipment safety
• Oversee development and implementation of Safety policies and procedures
• Oversee Safety Committee and Behavior Based Safety programs
• Inspect facilities for safety and health hazards; conduct audits
• Monitor compliance with state/federal safety and fire laws and regulatory responses
• Manage Hazardous Waste Program including inspections, training, and record retention
• Support regulatory reporting and audits across the network
• Plan and control EHS budget and drive cost-effective safety improvements
• Partner with Training on safety elements of VTGs
• Support on-site athletic trainer and safety initiatives
