Job summary

V2X, Inc. in Oklahoma City seeks a DoD-cleared professional to manage DMSMS and obsolescence efforts within the Supply Chain. You will analyze technical data, assist with supplier capability evaluations, and coordinate obsolescence notices and critical component lists.

The role requires 4–5 years in supply/warehouse with DoD familiarity, strong communication, and the ability to work with government regulations and aerospace contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or education/experience equivalent.
• 4–5 years supply/warehouse experience.
• 1–2 years experience with DMSMS/Obsolescence programs.
• Experience with aircraft technical data and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge in Aerospace/Defense industry is a plus.
• Must be customer oriented and able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and execute the DMSMS Plan (DMT).
• Assist the customer on all Supply Chain Risk and DMSMS efforts, working with IPTs and suppliers to analyze, assess impact, and propose resolution options.
• Participate in DMT Meetings and provide Obsolescence alert notifications.
• Assist in the review and evaluation of technical documents to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Provide technical input to Sole Source and Limited Source Justifications per Vertex standards.
• Provide Technical input on Similar Tool Analyses per Vertex standards.
• Assist supplier capability and approval through site visits and capability assessments.
• Facilitate on-site visits with at-risk suppliers to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Submit Contract Deliverable Requirements for DMSMS Management Plan, Obsolescence Alerts, BOMs, and SCC Lists.
• Manage the Critical item list and facilitate Critical Item Review meetings.
• Conduct material research of internal/external reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Participate in DMT Meetings and provide Obsolescence alert notifications.
• Assist in the review and evaluation of technical documents and manuals to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Provide technical input to Sole Source Justifications in accordance with Vertex compliance standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical input to Limited Source Justifications in accordance with Vertex compliance standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide Technical input on Similar Too Analysis in accordance with Vertex compliance standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist supplier capability and approval process by conducting site visits and assessing manufacturing and technology capabilities.
• Facilitate on site visits with “at risk suppliers” to conduct root cause analysis, implement and verify corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
• Submit Contract Deliverable Requirements for DMSMS Management Plan, Obsolescence Alert Notices, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Supply Chain Critical Components Lists.
• Manage the Critical item list and facilitate Critical Item Review meeting
• Conducts material research of internal/external reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree OR education/experience equivalent.
• 4 to 5 years supply/warehouse experience.
• 1 to 2 years experience working with DMSMS/Obsolescence programs.
• Experience with technical support and knowledge of the use and application of aircraft technical data, engineering drawings, and technical directives.
• Experience in the Aerospace /Defense Industry is a plus.
• Must be customer oriented.
• Able to use automated information systems.
• Able to successfully communicate both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to read, speak, write legible and understand the English language
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level security clearance.
