Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Material Control Supervisor to lead aviation supply support, oversee a warehouse, and ensure timely availability of maintenance parts. This role requires deep knowledge of USN/USAF logistics procedures and a secret clearance.

The candidate will manage inventory, coordinate material flow, and ensure accurate processing of purchase requests while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. A valid U.S. driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Thorough familiarity with USN/USAF logistics procedures to accomplish material requirements objectives.
• 3 years’ experience with the NALCOMIS OOMA database.
• Minimum of ten years’ experience in supply (last 15 years) with three in a supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated experience with USN/USAF logistics procedures.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize and manage the supply organization and policies for aviation supply support.
• Operate a supply warehouse and issue all aircraft maintenance supplies.
• Receive, inspect, store, and issue incoming materials.
• Conduct inventories and resolve discrepancies in materials managed.
• Coordinate flow of materials and expedite purchase requests.
• Research part requests and backorder issues to completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• The Material Control Supervisors shall be thoroughly familiar with the peculiarities of USN/USAF logistics support procedures used to accomplish material requirements objectives.
• Manage the supply organization. Formulate policies, concepts, and procedures for effective aviation supply support.
• Manage and operate a supply warehouse.
• Obtain, temporarily store and issue all supplies for aircraft maintenance and repair.
• Receive, inspect, process, store, issue, turn in and exercise control over all incoming supplies at the warehouse.
• Conduct inventories, dispose of excess material, research discrepancies, and process adjustments, as necessary, on items managed.
• Coordinate before disposing or removing what is considered excess material.
• Operate automated equipment, special purpose government vehicles, and material handling equipment.
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of material, parts, and assemblies supporting maintenance requirements in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Research part requests and backorder non-filled issue requests.
• Review and evaluate all purchase requests for complete and accurate information.
• Track progress of materials/purchase requests to completion.
• Perform other qualified duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Shall be thoroughly familiar with the peculiarities of USN/USAF logistics support procedures used to accomplish material requirements objectives.
• The Material Control Supervisor shall have three (3) years’ experience with the NALCOMIS OOMA database.
• The Material Control Supervisor shall have a minimum of ten years’ experience in supply (within the last 15 years) with three of the 10 years in a supervisory capacity. Supply experience gained in activities such as a squadron, military base, or depot, or as an item manager is acceptable.
• Demonstrated experience with USN/USAF logistics support procedures used to accomplish material requirements objectives.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
• Valid U.S. Drivers License.

Physical Demands:

This classification activity requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with shop/hanger/flight line maintenance activities to include bending, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, stretching, kneeling and working in tiring, uncomfortable positions, etc. May be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment

The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards.
