Job summary

Jefferson Solutions Group in the United States is seeking a Supply Chain Risk Management Expert to support the US Office of Secretary of War. The role is Hybrid and requires US residency and legal work authorization.

You will coordinate with government and commercial stakeholders, apply risk scoring methodologies, and produce executive-ready reports and dashboards to inform senior USG leadership. Candidates should have 10+ years in related fields, a BS, and prefer advanced degrees.

Qualifications

  • BS required; advanced degree and/or relevant professional certifications preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, risk management, or related fields
  • Strong communication to manage senior-level client relationships
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data to support analysis

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage diverse government and commercial stakeholders to support timely delivery across technology, management consulting, and operations teams
  • Depth of experience in supply chain analysis, risk analysis, consulting, intelligence analysis, or data analysis
  • Conduct and oversee risk scoring methodologies to compile Vendor Risk Reports that map vulnerabilities and cascading supply chain risks
  • Provide authoritative SCRM analytical expertise throughout the procurement lifecycle, guiding acquisition planning and source selections
  • Translate technical risk data into executive dashboards for non-technical leadership to enable rapid, informed decisions

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage diverse government and commercial stakeholders to help support timely delivery across technology, management consulting, and operations teams and skillsets
  • Depth of experience in supply chain analysis, risk analysis, consulting, intelligence analysis, or data analysis
  • Conduct and oversee technical and non-technical risk scoring methodologies to compile comprehensive Vendor Risk Reports that map systemic vulnerabilities and cascading supply chain risks.
  • Provide authoritative SCRM analytical expertise throughout the procurement lifecycle, guiding early-stage acquisition planning and complex source selections.
  • Translate highly technical, complex risk assessment data into clear, sophisticated Executive Decision Packages and dashboards tailored for a non-technical audience to enable USG senior leadership to make rapid, fully informed decisions.
Required Qualifications:
  • BS required, advanced degree and/or relevant professional certifications preferred
  • Years of experience required: 10+
  • Possess effective communications to manage senior level client relationships and deliver with excellence
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data to support analysis and decision-making
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with compliance, vendor assessment, and incident response
  • Background in life sciences, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or biomedical engineering
  • Expertise with systems thinking to identify and solve underlying problems
