Team and Role Description

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, Security, and Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. You will lead efforts to manage and direct suppliers and teammates supporting the external development of spaceflight systems, interacting with customers and program teams to ensure development and delivery milestones are met.

Key Attributes

Successful candidates will demonstrate influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem-solving skills, particularly in an aerospace manufacturing environment. A passion for space exploration and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree + 5+ years or Master's degree + 3+ years in Aerospace Program Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of procurement, planning, MRP/ERP systems, BOM structures, and Basis of Estimate creation.
  • Proven negotiation skills in contracts, proposals, and supplier management.
  • Ability to assist with COTs procurement and P-card purchases to support programs.
  • Experience managing complex projects with aggressive schedules and limited resources.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and technical discussion skills.
  • Ability to work cross-discipline with engineering, design, and project management teams.
  • Data-driven analytical skills and experience establishing and tracking program metrics.
  • Experience negotiating T&Cs and non-standard supplier agreements.
  • Capability to develop and execute project plans within budget and schedule, managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience influencing leadership and working in ambiguous environments.
  • Willingness to travel 15-25% as needed.
  • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, or approved status required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Coupa systems.
